Films like The Blues Brothers and Stripes catapulted him to fame thanks to his large, lovable persona. His bright career was cut short in 1994 when, while filming on location in Mexico, Candy died from a massive heart attack. Today, he is still universally loved and remembered fondly thanks to his buffoonish jokes, infectious smile, and side-splitting impersonations.
